En el marco del Festival Internacional de Cine de Rotterdam (IFFR) se celebrará una sesión dedicada a Transmedia. Aquí os dejo la nota oficial en la que se indican algunos detalles del evento:

In the framework of CineMart during the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR), from 29 January – 3 March 2012, MEDIA Desk Netherlands and MEDIA Desk Belgium – Flemish Community invite you to the session TRANSMEDIA EUROPE and the launch of two transmedia inititatives: mediaZoo.eu (NL) & iDROPS (BE).


Topics: What’s the status now? what are the lessons learned so far? how to/what not to do? Less preaching more doing.


We have presentations from Robert Pratten (CEO Transmedia Storyteller) about the richness of transmedia; Montecarlo (Quimica Visual) focusing on the role of transmedia in understanding our own society, and Michael Gubbins who asks himself questions around these new developments. We will also share the outcome of a closed panel earlier that day on the set up of TEN (Transmedia Europe Network).


The moderation is in hands of Alok Nandi (Architempo)


Of course there will also be the opportunity for sharing knowledge and ideas. Last but not least we will present two European initiatives: mediaZoo transmedia hub and iDROPS, each with their own specific competences.
